Djibouti Ports Corridor Road SA (DPCR SA) is an authority dedicated to the exclusive management of road corridors linking the ports of Djibouti to neighboring countries. In accordance with Decree No 2018-319/PR/MET, the company’s purpose is the rehabilitation, modernization and development of the network of road corridors linking the ports of the Republic of Djibouti to neighboring countries, as well as the extension, upkeep, maintenance and commissioning of corridor roads.
DPCR guarantees the safety of people and goods using the road corridors. We also strive to provide quality, sustainable roads using cutting-edge technologies that respect the environment, safety and user comfort.
Regarding our road projects (new road construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation, maintenance), we conscientiously ensure compliance with quality standards in order to offer roads that meet international standards. We are committed to improve our road infrastructure assets, which are essential for achieving regional integration aimed at stimulating economic growth and eradicating poverty.
The establishment of Djibouti Port Corridor Road S.A stems from the vision of transforming Djibouti into a trade and logistics hub of excellence. Djibouti has invested +1.5B USD building important infrastructures such as ports, specialised free trade areas to support the regional trade and logistics. DPCR S.A is a crucial element of this strategy as it aims to connects these infrastructures to the hinterland and neighbouring landlocked countries.
